 Silicon Components       
                                   
  • Developed and organized capital justification information for 2018 production expansion project.
  • Developed and maintained project plan with MS Project for Haas CNC vertical mills and Synova laser cutting equipment installation and qualification for production utilization for ACCRs.
  • Analyzed critical dimensions and implemented improvements of ACCRs for production equipment qualifications.
  • Developed and maintained work instructions for standard work methods with ACCRs; developed special work instructions and temporary work instructions for unexpected non conformances with production entities for ACCRs.
  • Developed and maintained labor travelers (routings) for ACCR production.
 
Warehousing                                                                

  • Led Warehouse Management System Implementation Project for operations.
  • Led lean warehouse and distribution initiatives, mini-Kaizen events.
  • Developed training SOPs for Warehouse Management System.
  • Maintained breakdown of inventory weights & cubes database with CubiScan.
  • Reversed engineered operations (Receiving-Putaway-Picking-Shipping) labor standards with time studies.
 
Robotics & Automation

  • Developed schedule for machine assembly. This included coordinating the machine build, run off and installation with Engineering, Sales, outside vendors and the customer.
  • Sourced suppliers and negotiated pricing; placed orders for machining, welding, heat treating and brazing; as well as, purchased raw materials and component parts including steel, electrical wiring, computer components, robotic replacement parts, etc.
  • Contacted and sourced trucking and rigging companies and manage the loading and delivery of machinery to customers safely in the most cost-efficient manner.
  • Quoted machine hours, materials, shipping and rigging for new jobs.
  • Worked directly with customers to provide replacement parts for existing machinery and automation equipment.
 
Sheet Metal Manufacturing
  • Developed equipment (Turret Punch, Press Brakes, Stamping Presses, and Lasers) and part work instructions and lockout/tagout maps avoiding OSHA fines up to $100,000.
  • Supervised Sleeper Control Panel Final Inspection process/personnel.
  • Reverse engineering of customer engineering drawings to create process drawings for turret and brake press operations.
  • Created and updated inspection steps for manufacturing operations with OnRamp ERP system; 50% max. reduction in inspection during manufacturing.
  • Participant in APQP process, PFMEA documentation and implementation of operations.
 
Refrigeration

  • Member of Enterprise Change Request (ECR) team; validated labor cost and savings for VA/VE projects, $120,000 cost savings justified in 2013 to manufacture and paint sheet metal parts (galvanized and stainless steel) in-house; used Minitab.
  • Established work instructions and training labor standard applications for BPCS, the upcoming SAP solution architecture and SAP implementation, software deployment from 2011-2013; developed strategy plan for loading and maintaining labor routings, production versions, cost collectors and cost estimates for SAP implementation.
  • Developed and maintaining labor cost standards in the configuration management system for sheet metal fabrication, sub-assembly operations, and final assembly operations.
  • Project engineer for Stratus multi-deck case manufacturing- design conversion, PFMEA documentation and implementation of operations, line balancing implementation; 95% on time delivery on customer conversion (rework) cases.
  • Project engineer of scrap reduction for sheet metal fabrication; 2010 sheet metal monthly scrap reduced by 50% with stainless and galvanized steel on Salvagnini Laser cutting equipment w/ ROI in one year; used Minitab.
