Led a team of two salaried and 19 hourly personnel in performing essential production planning and warehouse functions for a $52 million food processing company.
Appliance Manufacturing
Led a team with the responsibilities of planning inbound raw materials supporting 15 production lines and in the planning and execution of cycle counts of raw materials inventory, valued at over $18 million. Responsible for managing all international and domestic inbound materials. Planned, authorized, scheduled and controlled the acquisition and timely delivery of supplied material to support production operations and drive operational goals in the Materials organization. Prepared and made recommendations for the phase in and phase out of new shipping lanes, suppliers and freight handlers.
Transportation
Managed, led and coordinated the actions of 5 staff sections and 5 truck companies consisting of over 900 personnel; directed human resource management activities, budget planning, short and long term training plans, administrative actions, operations management and staff development.

- Developed receiving schedule providing structure to the receiving process, level load unloading of drop trailers and live unloads; end state of all trailers are unloaded, received and put away the day they are received.

Transportation

- Rated #1 of 17 battalions in the Ohio Army National Guard for readiness; ensuring all units were well trained, administratively available and logistically ready to respond to federal and state missions.
- Deployed over 500 Soldiers to Afghanistan in support of operations; oversaw development of, approved of and executed pre-mobilization training plans ensuring Soldiers were prepared for their mission. Responsible for manning the units, ensuring all Soldiers were administratively and medically cleared for deployment.
- Deployed over 115 Soldiers to New York City for humanitarian response to Hurricane Sandy with less than 48 hours notice.
- Directly responsible for human resource management activities, budget planning, short and long term training plans, administrative actions, operations management, staff development and logistics activities.
- Provided vision and guidance for the development of training plans encompassing a one to three year time horizon, ensuring all Soldiers were trained and qualified to perform their jobs.
- Coached and mentored 34 operational managers and team leaders.
