Tony has twenty-five plus years of manufacturing experience in operations leadership, facility design / startup, and project implementation. The foundation of his experience came from 12 years with General Motors in various plants before joining Ledex Corporation (a privately held electronics company) as their Director of Operations for their three manufacturing facilities. In 2001 Tony founded Strategy3 Inc. to develop a company that would be best in class provider of implemented manufacturing solutions. Tony is a principal partner of Eicom Inc. and serves on several diverse Boards for prominent companies in the United States. |

While with General Motors, Tony managed the installation of new equipment and led the staffing for 125 employees and a $215 million operational budget. He has launched satellite manufacturing sites in Mexico, Malaysia, and Mainland China. Tony has been fully responsible for budget development and execution for both start up and established organizations. He has manufacturing competence in machining, stamping, welding, molding and all levels of assembly from high volume single product to high variety frequent changeover.
Tony has managed operationally both the purchase of and the sales of several companies. He has a full range of due diligence experience from both the buying and selling of businesses.
Food and Beverage Manufacturing
Working with Fresh Food Concepts, Tony led a team that implemented design improvements to the facility and a new layout incorporating a continuous, smooth flow of production, increased labor productivity by 142%, decreased WIP by 67%, and reduced the standard crew on each shift from 20 to 11.
At Little Lady Foods, Tony’s team implemented improvements that resulted in 41% productivity improvement, 63% floor space improvement, and a first-year procurement savings of $673,000.
Industrial Products Manufacturing
Tony's team worked at Hydro Air a manufacturer of state of the art pumps, jets, hydrotherapy fittings, heaters, valves, blowers, controls, and ancillary products. Over a 12-month period the facility experienced a 58% improvement in on-time delivery, an $810,000 reduction in past due backlog, a 52% reduction in freight, a 15-day improvement in lead time (73% reduction), and a 12+% improvement in operating income.
While at Flojet, a leading global supplier of small pumps, motors, and dispensing pumps for a variety of industries, Tony led a team delivering a 37% productivity improvement and a 47% reduction in manufacturing cycle time.
